This house of the first half of the 18th century was founded in La Laguna when Willem Van den Heede, a merchant coming from the Netherlands established his residence here in 1725. Among his descendants, holders of a Letter of Nobility since ancient times, Mr. Guillermo José Domingo Van den Heede Yansen Verschüeren Dujardin y Mesa, founding member of the Real Sociedad Económica Amigos del País de Tenerife, stands out.

This is a magnificent example of the traditional domestic architecture, preserving in its interior an exceptional cloistered patio with high columns and plinths, mezzanine, and barn on the top floor.
