Tejina

Tejina is a village in the Northeast Region which also includes Valle de Guerra, Bajamar and Punta del Hidalgo.

Jóver natural swimming pools is on the coast of Tejina and is mostly used by the locals, giving the place a quiet family atmosphere. From here you can see as far as La Punta del Hidalgo lighthouse.

Tejina holds its main festival, internationally known as “Los Corazones de Tejina”, in August. The main area of the festival is the church square and their patron saint is San Bartolomé. The festival is held to thank the saint for the year’s harvest.
